The Post Falls Kiwanis Club is an effective team of like-minded community members: friendly, positive, and action-oriented with a priority for kids in our community. As we give back, we also provide networking opportunities while educating our members on community programs, needs, and current issues.
Kiwanis means “we trade or share our talents.” Working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.
Our focus is on children, but we also are very involved in other community efforts including senior outreach, community clean-up projects, and support of the Post Falls Food Bank and the Kootenai County Boys and Girls Club.
As a self-supporting organization, the Post Falls Kiwanis Club works to raise money through our annual fundraisers, including a September golf tournament, an April Flamingo Flocking event, and a winter bowling tournament.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. The name “Kiwanis” means “we trade” or “we share out talents”.
Kiwanians are volunteers, through guidance and example, working to develop future generations of leaders. Every day, Kiwanians are revitalizing neighborhoods, organizing youth-sports programs, tutoring, building playgrounds, and performing countless other projects to help children and communities.
Because working together , members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream and succeed, great things happen!
